Day 5: Acrylic or Plywood

Welcome to day 5 of our fabrication summer camp. Your goal today is to make a new design using any of the ideas we've looked at this week: rectangles, circles, frankenshapes, holes, polygons, turtle geometry, Bézier curves, and curls. We will cut the design out of plywood or acrylic using a laser cutter.

Consider these projects, which may be made using the ideas that we've discussed this week:

• tangrams: a silhouette puzzle
• a maze
• a tic-tac-toe board
• a set of gears
• a puzzle
• a hexagon puzzle

Feel free to choose one of them or make something completely different.
